Say "I Love You" with the ultimate Rowdy gift

UTSA alumnae Ileana Gonzalez '16, and Rebecca Smith '14, first met while serving as student leaders at UTSA. Since then then the besties have shared many special moments together, including the title of Ms. UTSA. Rebecca, who was crowned Ms. UTSA in 2013, passed the royal torch to Ileana who was crowned the following year.

Today, Ileana is a communications coordinator with The National Association for Latino Community Asset Builders, and Rebecca is pursuing her education to become a physical therapist. Although the two have graduated from UTSA, they continue to remain the best of friends, and are grateful for their time at the university.

Do you have a relationship as special as Rebecca and Ileana that started at UTSA? If so, you can honor your significant other, mentor, or friend, by naming a special spot on campus for one day!

The campaign Name Your Special Place at UTSA (for one day) will allow individuals to name a special spot on campus in honor of a friend, significant other or mentor.

To show your Rowdy love and name your special spot at UTSA, a minimum gift of $10 must be made online at giving.utsa.edu/vday, by February 13. After gift processing your special place will be photographed and shared on social media. Certificate and photo will then be mailed to you.
